Sam Benson is a dedicated athletic trainer originally from Philadelphia Mississippi. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of West Alabama in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of North Alabama in 2018. During his time at UNA, he also served as the athletic trainer for the Lions Baseball team gaining valuable hands on experience working with collegiate athletes.
Today, he proudly serves the student athletes of Fort Payne High School, providing high quality care focused on injury prevention, performance, and safe return to play. His approach reflects the philosophy of Rehab Partners rooted in building strong relationships, staying current with the evolving needs of athletes, and continually learning in order to deliver the highest level of care. He values being present, accessible, and accessible, and invested in each athletes journey both on and off the field.
Sam and his wife Morgan are the proud parents of three daughters; Avery, Marlee, and Penny. Their family is actively involved in Vive Church, and they are grateful to call Fort Payne home.
Sam considers it a privlege to care for Fort Payne's athletes and is deeply appreciative of the support his family has recieved from this community.
